DrivewayCheck (“DrivewayCheck,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates an online driveway cost-estimation and contractor-matching service for homeowners.

When you use the driveway estimator, we may collect information such as your street address, city, postal code, driveway dimensions, estimated driveway area, existing driveway surface, project type, driveway condition, widening requirements, project timeline and estimated project price.
If you request quotes from local paving companies, we may also collect your first and last name, email address, phone number and your consent to have your project information shared with paving companies.
We may also receive technical information automatically when you use the website, such as browser type, device information, IP address, pages visited and basic usage information through our hosting, security, analytics or technology providers.
How We Use Your Information
We may use personal information to:
- provide and save your driveway estimate;
- operate and improve the DrivewayCheck service;
- respond to questions or requests;
- process your request to receive paving quotes;
- connect you with paving companies serving your area when you have requested this service;
- prevent fraud, abuse or security incidents;
- analyze website performance and usage; and
- comply with applicable legal requirements.
Sharing With Paving Companies
Completing the driveway estimator does not automatically cause your contact information to be shared with contractors.
If you choose to request local quotes and provide the required consent, your contact information and relevant project details may be shared with up to three paving companies serving your area so they can contact you regarding your driveway project.
Those paving companies are independent businesses. Their handling of your information after receiving it may also be governed by their own privacy practices.
Service Providers
We may use third-party service providers to operate DrivewayCheck, including website hosting and backend infrastructure, address-autocomplete and mapping services, email-delivery services, analytics providers and security services.
These providers may process information on our behalf where necessary to provide their services.
Personal information may be processed or stored outside Ontario or Canada and may therefore be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction where it is processed.
Consent
We seek consent where required for the collection, use and disclosure of personal information.
Requesting local paving quotes is optional. You can use the driveway estimator without providing your name, email address or phone number.
If you request quotes, the quote-request form clearly explains that your contact and project information may be shared with local paving companies.
Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, for legitimate business needs, and to meet applicable legal or record-keeping requirements.
Information that is no longer required may be deleted, anonymized or securely disposed of.

No online system can guarantee absolute security.

Requesting paving quotes does not automatically subscribe you to unrelated promotional marketing.

DrivewayCheck may connect users with independent paving companies or link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third parties.
