These Terms of Use govern your use of DrivewayCheck. By using this website, you agree to these Terms.
1. DrivewayCheck Is an Estimation Service
DrivewayCheck provides informational driveway and paving cost estimates based on information supplied by users and pricing assumptions used by the platform.
DrivewayCheck is not a paving contractor, engineering firm, building inspector or professional estimator.
Estimates provided through DrivewayCheck are for general planning and comparison purposes only and are not binding quotations, offers or guarantees of actual project cost.
2. Estimates May Differ From Actual Contractor Pricing
Actual paving prices may vary based on factors that cannot be fully assessed through an online estimator, including grading, drainage, excavation requirements, soil and base condition, site access, asphalt specifications, demolition, disposal, municipal requirements, permits, curb work and other property-specific conditions.
Users should obtain an onsite quotation from a qualified paving professional before making purchasing or construction decisions.
3. Information You Provide
You are responsible for providing reasonably accurate information when using the estimator.
DrivewayCheck is not responsible for inaccurate estimates resulting from incorrect or incomplete information entered by a user.
4. Contractor Connections
If you request local quotes, DrivewayCheck may provide your contact and project information to paving companies serving your area.
Paving companies introduced through DrivewayCheck are independent third parties and are not employees, agents or representatives of DrivewayCheck.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, DrivewayCheck does not guarantee, certify or endorse any contractor or guarantee that a contractor is licensed, insured, qualified, available or suitable for a particular project.
5. Contractor Agreements
Any quotation, inspection, agreement, payment, warranty or construction work arranged between you and a paving company is solely between you and that paving company.
DrivewayCheck is not a party to the construction contract and does not control the contractor’s pricing, workmanship, scheduling, safety practices or performance.
Users are responsible for evaluating contractors before hiring them, including checking references, insurance, licences or other qualifications where appropriate.
6. No Guarantee of Contractor Quotes
Requesting local quotes does not guarantee that any paving company will contact you, provide a quotation or accept your project.
7. Acceptable Use
You may use DrivewayCheck for lawful personal or business purposes related to evaluating driveway or paving projects.
You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access to its systems, interfere with its operation, harvest user information, scrape the service at scale, or use automated systems in a manner that places an unreasonable burden on the platform.
8. Intellectual Property
The DrivewayCheck name, branding, website design, estimator logic, written content and other original platform materials are owned by DrivewayCheck or used with permission, subject to applicable rights in third-party technologies and services.
You may not reproduce or commercially exploit DrivewayCheck materials without permission except as permitted by law.
9. Third-Party Services
DrivewayCheck relies on third-party technologies and service providers. Availability or performance of the website may occasionally be affected by services outside our control.
10. Availability
We may modify, suspend or discontinue parts of DrivewayCheck at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
11. Limitation of Responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, DrivewayCheck is not responsible for losses arising from reliance on an informational estimate, contractor actions or omissions, construction work, third-party services, or circumstances outside DrivewayCheck’s reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
12. Privacy
Our collection and handling of personal information is described in the DrivewayCheck Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be posted on the website with its effective date.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Ontario, Canada and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
